Pixies To Rock May
Playing festivals as well as intimate theatre dates, the one and only Pixies return to the road beginning in early May with a gig in New Orleans. Destinations include New York, Louisville, Boston and Atlanta with tickets going on sale later this week.

This time Pixies’ Black Francis, Joey Santiago and David Lovering plus touring bassist Paz Lenchantin plan to dig deep into the band’s heritage. An announcement on the group’s website promises a “new and varied set” that will be “full of distortion howls and all the vivid dissonance a Pixies fan would expect – all performed on a sparse yet stunning stage.”
In other words, nuttin’ but music without all the fancy bell and whistles. Here’s the plan so far:
