The 1,000-seat venue, once a vital cog in Cleveland’s live music scene, has named Gregg Kelley general booking manager and his “favorite band,” Mushroomhead, will headline the grand reopening, according to Cleveland’s Plain Dealer.

“I remember seeing Nine Inch Nails, Eminem, Metallica, Marilyn Manson … and Mushroomhead,” Kelley told the paper. He added the band provides a bridge between old and new versions of the Odeon. Owned by Mike Tricarichi, the Odeon has also brought on operations manager Angie White. Both Kelley and White work in the same capacities at the neighboring Roc Bar.

“Our goal is to book mainly rock, country, some metal and indie-rock,” Kelley told the paper. We would like The Odeon to be what it was – a great place to see a rock show.”
