LN Seeks Hearing Postponement

The town issued a cease and desist order against the Oakdale, which LN owns, in February after neighbors grumbled over vibrations during concerts and rehearsals for shows that lasted late into the night. But Live Nation attorney Joan Molloy expressed optimism over the discussions to the local Record-Journal.
“I still think things are going well. We’re still having good communications on both sides,” she said. Molloy has been in contact with Town Planner Kacie Costello, who authored the order.
A Zoning Board of Appeals hearing is set for April 20 but the chairman of the board told the Record-Journal an extension has to be granted when requested. If the zoning violations aren’t resolved, the theatre could face a court injunction, fines of up to $150 per day and a one-time penalty of $2,500.
