Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band & Jonny Lang In June
So far, the first-ever co-headlining tour partnering the two most excellent axemen keeps to the Eastern states and only reaches as far west as Indiana.
Both acts bring incredible legacies to the tour. Since launching his career a little more than two decades ago at the wise old age of 16, Shepherd has sold millions of albums and received six Grammy nominations during his 20 years of recording. His most recent album is 2014’s Goin’ Home.
Lang is also a force to be reckoned with. Also a teen phenom, Lang’s major label debut album, 1997’s Lie To Me, is platinum-certified. What’s more, he’s appeared on stage with several bona fide legends, such as The Rolling Stones, B.B. King and Buddy Guy. Lang’s latest longplayer is 2013’s Fight For My Soul.
