Iggy Azalea Postpones ‘The Great Escape Tour’
An announcement from Def Jam Recordings says, “To accommodate for creative team availability and tour production plans, it was determined that the tour will not be ready for this spring. It is extremely important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requires more time in development.”
The excursion was set to kick off April 14 in Fresno, Calif., at the Save Mart Center. The new start date is Sept. 18 in San Diego.
While most shows have been rescheduled, Def Jam says shows in Baltimore, Las Vegas and Sacramento have been canceled. Jacksonville, Fla., is also missing from the routing.
And there’s another change – yet-to-be announced opening acts will take the place of special guest Nick Jonas and support act Tinashe.
