Garth Brooks Goes To College

The latest city added to Garth Brooks’ schedule will take him back to the East Coast. After playing Pittsburgh in February, his world tour with Trisha Yearwood will return to Pennsylvania for a few nights in State College.

The country super start is set to take the stage at State College’s Bryce Jordan Center May 1-2.

Brooks is continuing to break ticket records with this excursion. He’s just surpassed his own Portland, Ore., record as well as the record for the Moda Center by selling over 61,969 tickets. And with tickets for all five performances at the venue still available, Brooks has more to sell. The previous record was 54,873 tickets for a batch of July 1996 gigs.

Sacramento’s Sleep Train Arena is booked March 27-29, 31 and April 1, with two shows on March 28. Portland’s Moda Center welcomes Brooks April 12-13 and April 15-16, with two shows on April 12.

Tickets for State College go on sale March 20 at 10 a.m. EDT. Visit GarthBrooks.com for more information.
