Bassist Shoots Self In Foot
On the eve of U.S. dates and release of its Gracetown album, Australian alt-pop band San Cisco bassist Nick Gardner shot himself in the foot.
He had been shooting pests at a friend’s farm outside Perth when a gun bouncing in the back of their truck went off. Gardner said he passed out in shock while his friend rushed him to the nearest hospital, 100km away.
He rejoins the band for six dates March 28 to April 9 in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. Before that, San Cisco play the Troubadour, West Hollywood March 10, the Vive Latino in Mexico City March 13-15, the Parish in Austin March 19 and Baby’s Alright in Brooklyn, NYC, March 22.
