Muse Takes ‘Drones’ On The Road

Drones can be a polarizing topic but Muse fans can agree that a new album is definitely a good thing. This week the English rock band announced a U.K. tour along with the release date for its new LP named after unmanned aerial vehicles.

“To me, ‘Drones’ are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behaviour with no recourse,” frontman Matthew Bellamy said. “The world is run by Drones utilizing Drones to turn us all into Drones. This album explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors.”
