“Our brother Mike passed away peacefully in his sleep at 12:04 AM last night at home surrounded by his family,” Porcaro’s brother Steve, the band’s keyboardist, posted on Facebook. “Rest in peace, my brother,”

Porcaro replaced original Toto bassist David Hungate in 1982 when he left the group to spend time with family. Porcaro retired from touring in 2007 due to complications from ALS.
