The split became effective March 21 at the end of her Australian tour through Frontier Touring. Sources said the Australian singer was dissatisfied with sales of her album Kiss Me Once and that promised sponsorship and endorsement deals failed to materialize.

In a statement, however, Minogue said, “I’ve had an amazing time with Roc Nation and it’s been fantastic to team up with them over the last two years. We got together at a period in my life when I wanted to shake things up.”

The low sales of Kiss Me Once, which Minogue executive produced with Sia, also saw her part with the Parlophone label after 15 years. She remains with Warner Music for Australia.

Some reviews deemed the record too “safe-sounding.” She has since recorded “edgier” music with Nile Rodgers, Disclosure and Giorgio Moroder.
