Littlejohn Coliseum Updates

The men’s and women’s basketball teams at Clemson University in South Carolina are getting an updated home thanks to the recent approval of renovations to the Littlejohn Coliseum.

South Carolina’s Budget and Control board signed off on issuing bonds to finance the $63.5 million project, which is expected to start following graduation in May.

Updates will include reconstruction of the arena’s seating areas, plus new practice facilities, meeting rooms, locker rooms and offices, Beach Carolina Magazine reported.

Games are being moved to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville during construction, which is expected to wrap in time for the 2016-17 season.
