The Effect Of New Brandon Flowers Dates

After teasing fans with 20-second video clips this month, today is finally the day Brandon Flowers is showing off the debut single from his upcoming solo album. The Killers frontman has also added a few U.S. shows and a European tour to his solo schedule.

Marking the follow-up to 2010’s Flamingo, The Desired Effect is due out May 18. Flowers teamed up with producer Aril Rechtshaid, who has worked with Haim, Sky Ferreira and Vampire Weekend. The album is described as a “collection of songs that shows [Flowers] at his most sonically diverse and playful.”

The LP’s first single “Can’t Deny My Love,” debuted Monday in the U.K. on Annie Mac’s show on BBC Radio 1.
