Everclear, Toadies, Fuel & American Hi-Fi On ‘Summerland’

The Everclear-helmed ’90s alternate rock tour known to the world as “Summerland” has reached its 4th year. Destinations include Pittsburgh, Boston, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Fresno.

Everclear’s new album – Black Is The New Black on The End Records/ADA – doesn’t arrive until April 28 but has already spawned two singles.  First out of the gate was “The Man Who Broke His Own Heart,” followed by “American Monster.”

“This is a very honest recording. … No gimmicks,” Everclear frontman Art Alexakis said.  “Not many bells and whistles.  All the riffs on this record are things that really just resonate with me and the band, musically and lyrically – from the get-go.”
