Promoter Sues R. Kelly
A concert promoter in Texas has filed suit against R. Kelly, claiming the singer pulled out of an upcoming show and held onto some of the deposit.

Darryl Austin claims he shelled out $100,000 to Kelly’s team in January for an April date in Dallas, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
But just a month later, Kelly’s rep allegedly acted as if there was no show in the works.
The deposit was eventually returned, the suit says, but was $30,000 short. Austin is seeking repayment of the missing cash or a court order forcing Kelly to honor the date, TMZ said.
