Scott Weiland’s Guitarist Dies

Jeremy Brown, 34, guitarist for Scott Weiland & TheWildabouts, died from unknown causes March 30, on the eve of the release of the band’s debut album, “Blaster.”

Performing three days before his death with band mate Scott Weiland, during an exclusive listening party at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood in Los Angeles.

“We were all concerned this afternoon when Jeremy didn’t show up for a long-scheduled rehearsal for tonight’s album release show at School Night,” Weiland said in a statement. “An hour later, Jeremy’s family called us to say that he had passed away.”

Brown played on Weiland’s last album album and toured with the former Stone Temple Pilots singer. 

Weiland canceled the band’s album release show, which was to take place that night at Los Angeles’ School Night.
