Dreamcatcher Has Your Music Vacation
Looking for a different kind of vacation? Someplace where you can practice your guitar skills, pick up a few tips from the pros and jam to your heart’s content? Dreamcatcher Events announced its summer collection of music camps helmed by everyone from Steve Earle to Joe Satriani to Tommy Emmanuel.
You can rub shoulders with some mighty fine talent at these events. Music camps have become a mainstay of the season, and like a famous potato chip, many fans can’t stop with just one.
And you can’t beat the locations. Dreamcatcher’s West Coast camps take place at Cambria Pines Lodge in Cambria, Calif., while the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, N.Y., handles the East Coast events. Other locations include the Nottoway Resort in White Castle, La., and The Arrabelle at Vail Square in Vail, Colo.
Each camp features noted artists sharing their knowledge with amateur musicians. Plus, Musicians Institute is partnering with Dreamcatcher for Joe Satriani’s G4 Experience, Steve Vai’s Vai Academy – “All About The Guitar,” and Dog Camp featuring Mike Portnoy, Billy Sheehan and Richard Kotzen of The Winery Dogs.
“Musicians Institute is excited to be a part of these incredible all-star Dreamcatcher events,” Musicians Institute director of marketing Jessica R. Sullivan said. “We’re proud to share the same mission of supporting music education, and giving students the opportunity for in-depth learning experiences with some of the most successful artists in the industry.”
