The Grammy-nominated artist announced his tour while appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“It has been an exciting time and I am having the best time of my life with Kem and Joe,” Wilson said.  “We are packing arenas around the country and bringing people great music and an unforgettable show.  We’re having a party every night.”

Not only can you see Wilson live on stage but you can also read about his life.  His autobiography, “I Am Charlie Wilson,” arrives June 30.

Back to the tour.  Wilson’s management company is extremely pleased with its success.

“With the first 28 shows being so successful we are looking forward to adding these additional 16 shows for Charlie and carrying the momentum to even more cities,” Said Michael Paran, CEO/President of P Music Group, which is also the tour’s producer.  “Charlie is at the top of his game and this show is one of the best [outings] in years in terms of quality and production value giving the fans their money’s worth every night.”
