R5 Lays Down Its Summer Plans

R5 is looking at some serious roadwork in July through August – a run across the country that includes Boston, Milwaukee, Boise, Denver and Los Angeles.

The Southern California pop quintet’s second album, Sometime Last Night, lands in stores July 10.  Beginning today, fans preordering the disc via this link will receive an exclusive presale code for early access to purchase tickets to the group’s upcoming summer adventure.

As an extra tease for the album, R5 debuted the for the LP’s first single – “Let’s Not Be Alone Tonight” – On Vevo.  The visual companion to the song was directed by Robert Hales (Justin Timberlake, Death Cab For Cutie, Imagine Dragons, Alicia Keys).

Featuring Lynch siblings Ross, Riker, Rocky and Rydel plus drummer Ellington Ratliff, the tour will also feature special guests Jacob Whitesides and .

“We can’t wait for our fans to see what we have in store for them this summer,” R5 said in a statement.  “Playing such amazing venues has always been a dream of ours and we’re so excited to have our fans be a part of it.”
