Counting Crows’ Flight Plan

Charlotte, New York, Atlantic City, Phoenix and Oklahoma City are on the Counting Crows’ to-do list. With special guests Citizen Cope and Hollis Brown on the ticket, the “Somewhere Under Wonderland Tour” begins in Florida at the end of July.

Always a much anticipated summer favorite, the Counting Crows will play mostly amphitheaters on this run, including the Denver area’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion near Houston and the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, Mich.

Somewhere Under Wonderland is the Counting Crows’ latest album.  While each night’s setlist is expected to give fans a generous helping of new music, the band promises “other tunes you know and love” will be included as well.

Meanwhile, here’s the video for “Scarecrow” from Somewhere Under Wonderland

The tour isn’t the band’s only road expedition in 2015.  The Counting Crows wrap up an Australian/New Zealand journey this week and will embark on a swing through Canada later this month.  Come June the group will head to Europe for a series of festival gigs, including The Netherlands’ Pinkpop and Belgium’s Rock Werchter.
