Celebrating The Who
Happening May 14 at the Rosemont Theatre, “An Evening Celebrating The Who” will benefit programs aiding cancer-stricken teens and young adults at the University of Chicago Medicine as well as local children’s charities.
Having been involved with U.K. charity Teenage Cancer Trust for more than 15 years, Roger Daltrey and Townshend established Teen Cancer America in 2012.
Accompanying Townshend and Daltrey will be many of the musicians you’ve seen performing under The Who banner, including drummer Zak Starkey, guitarist Simon Townshend, bassist Pino Palladino, and keyboardists John Corey, Loren Gold and Frank Simes.
Tickets go on sale April 21 at 10 a.m. CDT. Click here for more information. And don’t forget to stop by TeenCancerAmerica.org to learn more about the organization.
