Durrani Back At Def Jam

Former Live Nation exec Faisel Durrani has returned to his old stomping ground, Def Jam Recordings.

Durrani, who once served as Senior VP of international marketing at Island Def Jam Music Group, was at Live Nation for its inception in December 2005 as president of artist marketing products (with Michael Rapino announced as CEO, Charlie Walker president of music and Bryan Perez named president of interactive).

Durrani, eventually named senior VP of touring, was considered Live Nation’s connection to Jay Z and Beyoncé, and he eventually worked at Parkwood Entertainment, the company Beyoncé created to “self-manage” herself.
