Stages features Groban singing some of the greatest musical theater songs of all time.  Recorded in Los Angeles and at London’s famed Abbey Road studios, the disc includes “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Rogers and Hammerstein’s “Carousel,” “Finishing The Hat” from Stephen Sondheim’s “Sunday In The Park With George,” and “All I Ask Of You” from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom Of The Opera.”

The album also offers Groban’s rendition of “Pure Imagination,” originally sung by Gene Wilder in the 1971 film “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.”  Stages arrives April 28 via Reprise Records.

Groban has lined up several TV appearances to promote Stages.  The same day the album drops, he’ll appear on  “Good Morning America.” April 29 finds him on “Live! With Kelly and Michael” and on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” May 5 he’ll stop by “Dancing With The Stars.”  Groban will also sing the National Anthem at the 2015 Kentucky Derby at Louisville’s Churchill Downs May 2.
