Summer Fun From Incubus & Deftones
Recently signed to Island Records, Incubus will release the four-song EP Trust Fall (Side A) May 12 and plans to issue a “non-traditional” album this year. The band will also hit a few festivals before its summer rumble with the Deftones. Upcoming gigs include the XL102 Big Field Day in Richmond, Va., May 2 and DC101 Kerfuffle in Columbia, Md., May 3.
Wait, there’s more. Brandon Boyd & Co. will cross the pond for some festival action, playing Rockavaria in Munich, Germany, May 29; Rock im Revier in Gelsenkirchen, Germany May 30; Rock In Vienna in Vienna, Austria, June 5; Switzerland’s Sonisphere June 6; Poland’s Orange Warsaw Festival June 14 and Park Live in Moscow June 19.
Having sold more than 10 million albums, the Deftones are working on a new LP set for a 2015 release. The band will perform May 9 in Las Vegas at the first ever Rock In Rio USA.
