Take Me To Hozier’s Show

Now that he’s properly wowed fans and critics with his Coachella debut, Hozier has announced a fall tour through the U.S. that also includes a handful of gigs in Canada.

Palm Springs, Calif.-based newspaper The Desert Sun named Hozier’s performance of his single “Take Me To Church” as one of the unforgettable moments of Coachella.

“Hozier closed his Saturday set with the 2014 hit ‘Take Me To Church,’ and on both weekends, fans came running from hundreds of yards away to listen. People threw their arms in the air, swaying and shouting the hit’s haunting lyrics as the sun began to set,” The Desert Sun wrote.

Over in his native Ireland, the Irish Independent declared, “Hozier steals the show at Coachella with Este Haim duet.” The Haim bassist made a surprise appearance to help the singer/songwriter cover The Time’s 1984 tune “Jungle Love.”

The next stop for Hozier is Tuesday’s show in Austin. He’s got U.S. dates booked through early May, followed by a trip to the U.K. and Ireland in May and June. Then he’ll come back to the States in June, before returning to Europe later that month for a long list of festival appearances. And wouldn’t you know, that jetsetter has a few more trips back and forth across the Atlantic in July and August.
