Charli XCX & Bleachers Join Forces
This isn’t the first time the English electro/pop singer/singer and the New York City-based indie pop act have collaborated. In December the artists showed off the “In-Ride Sessions” video they put together for Complex. Antonoff covered Charli XCX’s “Break The Rules” while Charli XCX showed off her vision of Bleacher’s “Rollercoaster.”
“I love Charli. I love what she does with pop music, how she makes it bizarre,” Antonoff said. “The two of us do totally different things but occupy a similar space – that’s what I loved about the idea to tour together. It makes sense in the fact that it doesn’t make sense.”
It turns out that Charli loves Jack too.
“I love Jack,” she said. “I love what he does with pop music, how he makes every song feel like a movie. This tour is gonna be cool and weird and fabulous and I really can’t wait.”
