Global Live Launched

Global Entertainment, the company recently launched by Ashley Tabor and run by Randy Phillips, has launched a new division called Global Live that will promote a Rolling Stones tour stop and be helmed by Paul Korzilius and Sam Bush, with Ned Collett as a consultant.

Korzilius will serve as senior VP of Global Live and be based stateside, while Bush has been named director and will operate from the U.K. Korzilius maintains his status as manager of Bon Jovi. Global Live will promote the Stones at Indianapolis’ Motor Speedway on July 4 in conjunction with AEG Live. It is already producing The Vanps’ U.K. tour, which kicked off at Glasgow’s  April 17

. The Stones show is the first non-race week concert at the facility.

Korzilius and Bush have longtime relationships with Phillips, who ran AEG Live. Bush joins the company from AEG, where he was director of live music and launched U.K. tours for acts like RixtonThe Vamps and Selena Gomez. Korzilius has ties with Phillips through Bon Jovi tours promoted by AEG Live as well as the band’s 10-night stand that AEG and Korzilius put together to launch the  in New Jersey in 2007. 

“Having built AEG Live from the ground up with some really gifted executives, I know what it takes to build a live entertainment company,” Phillips said. “Global is well positioned to do this again in the year 2015, and the industry is anxious for another professional, well resourced, financially stable live promotion company to enter the market.” Collett will be a consultant for divisional operations and finance.

He previously held positions at BASE Entertainment and was CEO of Pure Management Group as well as exec VP of North American venues for Live Nation. Meanwhile, Global Entertainment, geared toward media and entertainment, has released a track by Atlanta’s Anthony Lewis. Global is the largest commercial group of the U.K.
