Exit Exports Dance Vibe
Serbia’s Exit Festival’s efforts to export what it sees as its distinctive dance vibe appear to be meeting with some success in the UK.

After last year’s reportedly successful UK tour, the festival on the banks of the River Danube at Novi Sad is returning to bring “the fortress vibes” to some elected British clubs.
The shows start at The Winter Gardens, Milton Keynes, May 3, followed by further dates in Edinburgh, Dublin, London and Birmingham. The attractions are usually dance acts that have either played the Balkan festival or are about to play it.
Expanding closer to home, last year the Serbian festival team started the similarly themed Sea Dance outdoor on the Budva Jaz Beach in neighbouring Montenegro.
This year’s Exit Festival July 8-12 has Emeli Sandé, Faithless, The Prodigy, Clean Bandit, and Tom Odell. Sea Dance July 16-18 has The Prodigy, Rudimental, Gramatik, Dubioza Kollectiv, and Nick Monaco.
