D’Angelo & The Vanguard Summer Dates

Returning to the road for more dates in support of the Black Messiah album, D’Angelo & The Vanguard will launch the summer run in Oakland in early June.  Stops include Houston, Denver, Los Angeles and Kansas City.

Issued as a surprise release a few days before Christmas, Black Messiah immediately shot to the top of the charts.  As D’Angelo and the band ventured forth to support the LP, Rolling Stone described a performance at New York City’s Apollo Theater as “stunning … a master class in soul.”
