A community meeting was held recently to discuss noise suppression measures and light towers that sometimes shine into the homes of residents nearby, according to DNAinfo.

Plans reportedly include constructing a concrete fence around several portions of the stadium, redesigning walls around the stage, enclosing stairways, putting in new light towers and installing sound-absorbing panels around the stadium that can be moved depending on the need.

The upgrades are expected to take about three weeks to complete, organizer Jon McMillan told the site. He added that his colleagues worked with the city’s Department of Environmental Protection and the Mayor’s office to monitor noise throughout the entire season last year.
