Paul McCartney Adds A Few Nights In The USA

After playing 32 shows in 30 cities throughout South, Central and North America in 2014, Paul McCartney’s “Out There” tour has more ground to cover. Last week he announced the first U.S. arena date of 2015 and now he’s back with two more gigs in the States.

The new shows take place June 23 in Charlottesville, Va., and June 25 in Columbia, S.C.

Fans won’t want to miss these gigs. After all, as Macca’s website points out, “the McCartney live experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity.” Audience members will be treated to state of the art technology and production, featuring “massive screens, lasers, fireworks, unique video content and, of course, the best songs in the world.”

The former Beatle began his 2015 travels in Japan last week. He wraps that excursion Tuesday in Tokyo, followed by a May 2 gig in South Korea. And then he’s off to Europe in May and June with dates in the U.K., France and Netherlands. He’ll return to the continent in July for an appearance at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival and headline dates in Norway and Sweden.

The first U.S. stop of the year is an appearance at Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Del. Here’s how McCartney’s U.S. schedule stands today:

June 19 – Dover, Del., Dover International Speedway (Firefly Music Festival)
June 21 – Philadelphia, Pa., Wells Fargo Center
June 23 – Charlottesville, Va., John Paul Jones Arena (JPJ Arena)
June 25 – Columbia, S.C., Colonial Life Arena
July 31 – Chicago, Ill., Grant Park (Lollapalooza)
