Long-time Bumbershoot producer One Reel is getting more than a little help from its friends at AEG Live. The non-profit organization has partnered with the international live entertainment company to present a weekend of music that includes Cake, Fitz And The Tantrums, Zedd, Social Distortion, Bassnectar, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and many, many others.

Bumbershoot’s new official non-profit partner is the Center for Infectious Disease Research (formerly Seattle BioMed).  As part of the arrangement AEG Live will donate a portion of each ticket sold to the organization.

But with all this talk about AEG Live, do you think someone from the company had something to say about Bumbershoot?  You betcha.

“Our team is thrilled to be a part of the 2015 festival,” AEG Live Pacific Northwest VP Rob Thomas said.  “With guidance from previous Bumbershoot producers, we are taking the best from the past and pushing that vision into the future.  The 45th year is going to be an amazing celebration.”
