A ‘Mamby’ Chicago Weekend

Empire Of The Sun and Passion Pit top the lineup for the first-ever “Mamby On The Beach,” a two-day party in Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Announced today by React Presents, Mamby On The Beach takes place at Chicago’s Oakwood Beach July 11-12. The lineup for the 18-and-over event includes Phantogram, Royksopp, Art Department, James Murphy (DJ set), Cashmere Cat, Cut Copy (DJ set), Robert DeLong, Matthew Dear, George FitzGerald, Classixx and many others.

Mamby’s location offers easy access to the festival. The park is alongside South Lake Shore Drive and is easily accessible by public transit. Saying the best way to get there is via bicycle, Mamby offers free bike parking. A free event-shuttle service will also be available with shuttles running continuous loops between the Cermak-Chinatown Red Line, the Cermak-McCormick Green Line and the beach.
