Elton Extends Tour To Australia, NZ

Elton John extends his All The Hits Tour to Australia and New Zealand.

Chugg Entertainment has him kick off at Wellington’s Westpac Stadium Nov. 21 before moving on to the Hunter Valley’s Hope Estate, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Duneed Estate in Geelong as part of A Day On The Green, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney Dec. 5- 19. Australia was one of the first countries to tour the piano player. Since Sir Elton’s first visit in October 1971, he has played 179 shows downunder to 1.5 million.

Chugg Entertainment and Destroy All Lines team three punk bands – California’s The Story So Far, New Jersey’s Man Overboard and Melbourne’s Apart From This – for 10 club stops Sept. 2-12.

Ed Sheeran’s five-stadium Nov.-Dec. tour through Frontier Touring added PassengerRudimental and Vance Joy to the bill. Live Nation and WME added Albany, NY-based pop-punk five-piece State Champs to 5 Seconds of Summer’s sold-out Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour. Taking in six stops June 18-29, it is the Australian band’s first arena headline run in its home country, where it shifted half a million singles and where its debut album went platinum.

After Ryan Adams’ July 19 show at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre sold out on the first day of sale May 4, Frontier Touring added a second show July 20.
