J Balvin’s First Headlining Tour

Having toured with Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull, Latin music’s J Balvin will see his name on the top of the ticket when he goes on his first headlining tour.  Destinations on the fall outing, which features special guest Becky G, include Miami, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Life has been great for Balvin. His La Familia album resulted in the back-to-back hit singles “6 AM” and “Ay Vamos,” with the video for the latter attracting 350 million views on Vevo.

Balvin’s collaborations have taken the artist into the stratosphere.  The Colombian urban trailblazer has worked on Spanish remixes with Ariana Grande, Pharrell, French Montana and others.

Having Becky G appearing as special guest adds more sparkle to an already enticing tour.  The 18-year-old singer/songwriter/rapper recently won several Disney Music Awards, including best new artist.  The video for her hit single “Shower” has gathered more than 105 million YouTube view and was one of People magazine’s “Top 10 Songs Of The Summer” for 2014.

While announcing his powered-by-Toyota tour, Balvin offered up a few words of wisdom for those thinking about pursuing their own aspirations.

“I am always talking about how important it is to chase your dreams and this tour becoming a reality is a perfect example of how important it is to never give up,” Balvin said.  “After going on the road with Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull, I learned from the best on how to do it right.  Now I can’t wait to get out there and perform a new show for my fans.  I know Becky G is going to kill it on the tour and I am really grateful to Toyota for supporting us on the road.”
