Foo Fighters and Kanye West have already been confirmed for the Friday and Saturday nights respectively, leaving the legendary Brit rockers to close out the event.

A “festival insider” reportedly told The Sun that either Noel Gallagher or Paul Weller will perform in the slot directly before them.

The band made it official with a May 6 announcement quoting frontman Roger Daltrey saying, “It’s great to be ending this part of a 50 year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world. We’ll do our best to close this year’s event with a bang, unless of course the fireworks get wet!”

Speculation about the identity of the third Glastonbury headliner had been rife since festival organiser Michael Eavis said the name would be revealed June 1.

The Glastonbury lineup June 24-28 also includes Florence & The Machine, Jamie T, Alt-J, Patti Smith, Jungle, The Chemical Brothers,Alabama Shakes, Paloma Faith, Mark Ronson, and Pharrell Williams.
