Two More Nights With Van Halen

It turns out that 39 Van Halen gigs just wouldn’t do. And so, “due to overwhelming demand,” the band has added two more dates to its North American tour, with one stop on the East Coast and another on the West Coast.

The outing marks the band’s first North American tour since 2012, following March’s release of Van Halen’s first-ever live album featuring original lead singer David Lee Roth.  Tokyo Dome Live In Concert was recorded June 21, 2013 and features songs from all seven of Van Halen’s albums with Roth.

Van Halen kicks off the road trip July 5 in Auburn, Wash. Thanks to the addition of an Oct. 4 show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, the excursion will now wrap up with two performances at the venue.

The new East Coast date takes place Aug. 15 in Wantagh, N.Y., the second of two nights at Nikon At Jones Beach Theater.
