It notched up its 107th consecutive week in the week beginning May 11, knocking off Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face,” which had 106 weeks. It pushed Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” to No. 3 with 105 weeks.

“It’s so nice to think you have longevity in your music,” Joy said. The song was recorded for A$700 ($500) in his hometown Melbourne. It sold 3.5 million worldwide and 2 million in the United States where it peaked No. 30. The song featured in the 2014 film “The Inbetweeners 2” and TV series “Stalker.”
