LMF Leisure Ltd., which planned the two-day event with a lineup including Union J, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah, Soul II Soul, Labrinth, The Saturdays, Diversity, UB40, Sam Bailey, and Billy Ocean, blamed poor ticket sales.
“There are no outstanding debts, nothing owed to creditors, just ourselves as investors,” said Shane Whitfield, one of the co-founders of the event held at Leicester Tigers’ Welford Road Stadium.
“We did something, and Leicester is not the market for this type of event,” an unnamed member of the organizing team told the Leicester Mercury. “It is a shame Leicester never had the appetite for it.”
