Desaparecidos Takes ‘Payola’ On The Road
Due out June 23 on Epitaph, Payola was co-produced by Mike Mogis (First Aid Kit, Saintseneca). Epitaph promises the new album is “more raw, louder, and angrier” as it tackles “a wide range of political issues at a much broader scale.”
Payola boasts eight new tracks from Desaparecidos, along with the following previously released tracks: “MariKKKopa,” “Backsell,” “Anonymous,” “The Left is Right,” “Te Amo Camila Vallejo,” and “The Underground Man.”
The band fronted by Conor Oberst hits the road two days after the album release with two nights in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Desaparecidos told fans on Facebook that the dates announced this week “were the first batch of many more to come this year. Please rest assured and keep those city requests coming until we announce more.”
