Hangin’ Around With Josh Abbott Band

Josh Abbott Band started the year by selling out the world’s largest honky tonk – the 6,000-capacity Billy Bob’s Texas in Ft. Worth – and now the act is getting ready to kick off its biggest tour to date. The “Where’s The Party?” summer outing will take the group to 24 states, including 11 markets it’s never played before.

The setlist will include tunes from its three full-length studio albums and most recent release, 2014’s Tuesday Night EP, which includes the tune “Hangin’ Around.” The Lubbock, Texas-based country band will likely show off the single “Oh, Tonight,” which is featured in the film “The Longest Ride.”

The tour launches May 28 in Birmingham, Ala. Along with headline dates from coast to coast, Josh Abbott Band will also play select shows with Lee Brice, Sara Evans and Toby Keith. Festival appearances include Taste Of Country in Hunter, N.Y., and Watermelon Thump Festival in Luling, Texas.
