Off-Duty Detroit Police Officer Attacked Outside Kevin Hart Show
Police say two people attacked an off-duty Detroit police officer who was changing a flat tire outside a Kevin Hart comedy show at The Palace of Auburn Hills, and he shot and wounded two people.
Authorities say the 26-year-old officer, a 32-year-old Detroit man and a 31-year-old Harper Woods women were taken to McLaren Oakland Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police tell The Detroit News that the confrontation happened early Sunday just before the start of Hart’s second concert.

Authorities say the officer sustained head injuries. A regional police team is investigating the attack, and Detroit police say they’re also conducting an internal probe.
