Brad Paisley’s Rolling Stones Date

Brad Paisley’s touring schedule has the country superstar topping festival lineups and headlining major venues.  Now he has a new gig to add to the mix – opening for The Rolling Stones.

The Rolling Stones’ “Zipcode” tour opens Sunday in San Diego at Petco Park.  Marking the first time the band has played North American stadiums since 2005-2007’s “A Bigger Bang Tour,” the schedule of one-night-stands takes Mick Jagger & Co. through mid-July when the outing wraps at the in Quebec City.

Paisley’s path intersects with The Stones June 17 at LP Field in Nashville.   The Rolling Stones revealed Paisley’s participation on Twitter, which prompted him to re-tweet the band’s announcement along with the message, “I’ve never been tempted to frame a tweet before now …”
