Paul Weller On The West Coast
Saturns Pattern is Weller’s first release in three years and his first on Warner Bros. Records. The Guardian’s five-star review calls the LP “another style-hopping triumph” for The Modfather.
The paper writes, “Saturns Pattern continues the purple patch Weller hit in 2008 with 22 Dreams, when he suddenly began to experiment with new ways of writing and recording. … ‘Still got a way to go,’ Weller sings on the coda of closing track ‘These City Streets’ – a positive note that suggests there’s plenty more where this came from.”
Weller kicks off a previously announced East Coast excursion on June 9 in DC. In between the East and West coast outings he’ll make appearances at a few European festivals, including Glastonbury, and play headline dates in Spain, Italy and Austria.
