Chris Cornell’s ‘Higher Truth’

Fans in Australia and New Zealand will get the chance to check out Chris Cornell’s new tunes in a live setting when he brings his acoustic tour Down Under in November and December. The multi-Grammy award-winning artist is gearing up to release his first solo studio album since 2009.

Higher Truth is scheduled for a September release in Australia. Cornell put out his third solo studio album, Scream, in 2009. His first live solo album, Songbook, was recorded during an acoustic solo U.S. tour in May 2011.

An announcement on his website says the setlist on the Australia/New Zealand tour will feature tracks from Higher Truth as well as selections spanning his entire career, which means audience members will be treated to songs from Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of The Dog.
