Run The Jewels Runs Into Fall

The good times roll into autumn for Run The Jewels’ Killer Mike and EL-P as the rap duo reveals its “Jewel Runner” fall dates beginning in Tucson in late September.

It’s shaping up to be a Run The Jewels summer. The pair’s Coachella performance drew raves and RTJ’s June 6 gig at London’s Forum is already sold out. Add that to Run The Jewels’ global festival plan with stops at Bonnaroo, Pitchfork, Primavera, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading, Leeds and other mega-events, and you have two top-selling artists in the midst of global success.

This year also marked the third Marvel Comics cover inspired by a Run The Jewels song.

Meanwhile, Run The Jewels is working on a new album – RT J3. Killer Mike and EL-P are also busy with the “feline-themed remix album” Meow The Jewels.

And then there’s the fall tour taking RTJ to El Paso, New Orleans, Minneapolis and other markets. Run The Jewels is also playing the Austin City Limits Music Festival but organizers haven’t yet announced daily schedules. Here’s the autumn routing:
