Scheduled for the tail end of summer, NiFi will occupy the Kentucky Speedway Aug. 28-30.  To make this mega event possible, Nitro Fidelity has partnered with Huka Entertainment and AJ Niland to curate a genre-crossing lineup.  Brantley Gilbert, Jake Owen, Weezer, Hank Williams Jr., Spoon, Flogging Molly, Gov’t Mule, Bleachers, Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, The New Pornographers, Benjamin Booker, Built To Spill, The Joy Formidable, The Black Lips, and Jana Kramer are just some of the acts on NiFi’s inaugural run.

But festivals, especially new ones, do not thrive on music alone.  Today’s announcement says NiFi will offer “an incomparable food and beverage experience” that includes local chefs, brewers, distillers and food trucks.  Your culinary headliner for the weekend will be local superstar chef Edward Lee, a James Beard Award nominee.

Promising “abundant on-site camping,” NiFi starts selling tickets later this week when general admission and Ignited (VIP) passes go on the block May 28 at 10 a.m. EDT.  G.A. tickets include three-day access and complimentary car camping.  Optional tent camping and RV upgrades available.  Ignited passes include three-day access, preferred camping, access to the Ignited Lounge for complimentary drinks, a menu created by Chef Lee, exclusive viewing and other perks.  Check out the festival’s Facebook page for more details.
