Wanderlust Debuts In Sunshine Coast

U.S. lifestyle festival Wanderlust makes its debut on Australia’s Sunshine Coast over four days in October.

Headlining a concert Oct. 15 at Novotel Twin Waters Resort are Californian-born singer/surfer Donavan Frankenreiter and Sydney electro-pop group Sneaky Sound System.

The Sunshine Coast Regional Council expects up to 4,000 visitors for a brand that has a global attendance of 800,000.

Tourism, Sport and Major Events Portfolio Councilor Jason O’Pray said, “This will generate an economic impact of around A$1.2 million ($918,000) and offer people from other parts of Australia and across the world a wonderful sample of what the Sunshine Coast has to offer.”
