Celtic Woman’s Fall Travels

There’s more fun in store from Celtic Woman.  The Irish music sensation has added a fall leg to its 10th anniversary tour with stops including Orlando, St. Louis, Toledo and Kansas City.

Approximately 25 cities were added to Celtic Woman’s already mammoth schedule. Currently touring North America, the group is in Spokane tonight and will spend the weekend playing Montana towns Missoula, Bozeman and Great Falls.

There’s a lot to love when this PBS audience favorite comes to your town.  Featuring three world-class vocalists and a Celtic violinist, the all-female production serves up classics like “Danny Boy” and “Mo Ghile Mhear” as well as somewhat more recent songs such as  “You Raise Me Up” and “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.”  The 15-member ensemble includes dancers, bagpipers and a full band playing traditional Irish instruments, including bouzoukis, Uilleann pipes and handcrafted tin whistles.

“We’re thrilled to be able to visit more cities in America this year,” violinist Mairead Nesbitt said.  “The show is more interactive than ever, and audiences have been overwhelmingly thrilled.  We hope to see all of you dancing in your seats soon.”
