AEG Live Goes To The Races

AEG and International Speedway Corporation, owner of several of the top auto racing tracks in the country, have expanded their existing partnership to bring AEG Live into the fold – likely bringing more concerts to raceway infields around the country.

ISC owns 13 motorsports facilities, including such well-known NASCAR outposts at Daytona, Watkins Glen, Darlington, Talladega, and Michigan speedways. It also includes tracks in Fontana, Calif., Phoenix, Ariz., Kansas City, Kan., Joliet, Ill., and Martinsville and Richmond, Va. AEG Facilities is currently advising ISC on development projects including Daytona Rising, a $400 million renovation of Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla., set to open in January.

It includes an adjacent retail and entertainment complex, One Daytona. “Partnering with ISC, the nation’s largest motorsports entertainment provider, is a great opportunity for AEG,” said Jay Marciano, AEG Live chairman and AEG COO. “Combining ISC’s iconic sites and outstanding infrastructure with AEG’s resources will allow us to create unforgettable music events and great fan experiences at some of the nation’s most storied venues.”
