More Dates For Charli XCX & Bleachers
You can add the second leg to the previously announced summer run beginning in San Diego July 21. Special guest Børns is on the July-August run while Robert DeLong handles the fall adventure.
Fun. lead guitarist Jack Antonoff is the man behind Bleachers and worked with the British singer on “Complex’s In-Ride Sessions: Charlie XCX and Jack Antonoff trade Remixes.”
Antonoff joined Charlie XCX on this morning’s “Today” during the NBC program’s Toyota Summer Concert Series.
Friday’s announcement comes with quotes from both sides of the co-headlining romp. First is Charli XCX.
“So happy to announce the second leg of my joint headline tour with Bleachers. Can’t wait to see you all out on the road. It’s gonna be weird and wild,” Charlie XCX said.”
“Charli and I have been spending a bunch of time together recently and I am as a result more excited for this tour than Halloween when I was 9,” Antonoff said. “We’re both planning some crazy shit. Both of us are making new records so this is our way of sending off our old ones and trying some new shit. It’s gonna be summer camp meets the apocalypse.”
